Overview
Tarangire National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is renowned for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, which can often be seen gathering around the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. It is also home to a variety of other animals, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. Tarangire’s diverse ecosystems, from savannahs to woodlands, provide a rich habitat for over 500 bird species. The park is less crowded than other Tanzanian parks, offering a more intimate and serene safari experience.
