Overview
Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and oldest national park, famous for the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and plunges down with immense force. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and hippos, as well as over 450 bird species. Visitors can enjoy game drives, boat safaris along the Nile, chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest, and breathtaking views of the falls.
