Overview

Mount Sinai, also known as Jebel Musa, is a sacred mountain in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. Revered by Jews, Christians, and Muslims, it is traditionally believed to be the site where Moses received the Ten Commandments from God. Rising about 2,285 meters (7,497 feet) above sea level, the mountain offers breathtaking views, especially at sunrise. Pilgrims and tourists often hike to the summit via the Steps of Repentance or the Camel Path, combining physical adventure with deep spiritual reflection in one of the world’s most revered religious landmarks.
