Overview

Jericho is considered the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, with a rich biblical heritage. Located near the Jordan River in the West Bank, it is where Jesus was tempted by the devil on the Mount of Temptation and where Zacchaeus, the tax collector, famously climbed a sycamore tree to see Him. Jericho also features Elisha’s Spring and offers serene views of the Judean Desert.
